‘Les bons comptes font les bons amis’

The title meaning is the French equivalent of “Short reckonings make long friends“.
The illustration is made in the style of famous artist ‘Cassandre’ (1901-1968); the idea behind it was to use the playing cards mirroring principle to show the endless virtuous circle brought from keeping square all monies with our comrades.
I added a dollop of light insolence making those money handling characters red faced, posh clothed and long teethed.
