I’ve been directing videos since the age of 16 and keep coming back to that craft, no matter what else I do. I see all the treatments I put together, the illustrations I draw and the designs I make as a way to further train my eye and understand what works and what doesnt for video directing. In parallel to that I’m writing several scripts, both for short movies and long features.
I’m very fond of the commercial aspect of it (as in directing video commercials), as the creative challenge is structured and already has a clear aim. Directing is solving problems, organising. And I love it.
